Restaurants and merchants offering dine-in and take-out options will benefit from the new “To Go Item” order type. “To Go Item” enables customers who dine in to order take-out items while they dine.
Two “Print To-Go” options allow staff to coordinate the preparation of a take-out order with a customer’s meal:
- “Print To-Go”: Allows manual coordination of dine-in orders with take-out items. When the “Print To-Go” button is selected, take-out items are sent to the remote kitchen printer.
- “Auto Print To-Go”: Allows automatical coordination of dine-in orders with take-out items. Take-out items are automatically sent to the kitchen with the customer’s first course when the “Auto Print To-Go” option is enabled in Print Settings.

- When the customer is preparing to wrap-up their meal, select “Get Order” to pull up their order. Then select “Print To-Go” to send the remaining take-out items to the kitchen.
