Restaurants who have limited in-house drivers or are looking to utilize 3rd party delivery services will love using Exatouch’s Delivery Manager! The Delivery Manager is a simple, convenient way to manage orders which are delivered by GrubHub, UberEats, and other delivery services. View order status and delivery service information right on the Delivery Manager screen.
Use of the Delivery Manager begins after an order is placed at the Register.
- When placing an order for delivery, select Delivery as the Order Type. See: Select Order Type
- Orders are sent to the remote kitchen printer when Save Order is pressed.
- Saved delivery orders appear in the Delivery Manager where they are tracked and managed.
- Tip! The Delivery Manager can also be used for orders delivered by an in-house driver. See:Â Delivery Manager: In-House Delivery
Delivery orders start at the register.
- Choose Delivery order type.
- Tap to highlight the name of a delivery service.
- Tip! Names can be added to the delivery service list. See:Â Add 3rd Party Services to the Delivery Manager
- Choose Without Customer to proceed without entering a customer name. Choose With Customer to attach a customer name.
- Enter an order number as provided by the delivery service. Then tap OK.
- Select a customer. Tap New Customer to add a new customer.
- Ring up the order.
- Tap Send Order to send the order to the remote kitchen printer. Â
- The order now appears in the Delivery Manager.
Delivery orders that have been placed are viewed in the Delivery Manager.
- Open the Delivery Manager by tapping the global menuÂ
.
- Note: Delivery Manager can be placed as a custom button. As such, the Delivery Manager button may be found at a different location on your register.
- Tap Delivery Manager.
- View order details in the Delivery Manager queue.Â
- Orders are designated as N (New) when a new order is placed.
- View orders with Order Status: NÂ
- Last Activity: Tracks the amount of time since the order was placed.
Staff assigns “ready” status once the order is out of the kitchen, boxed for transport, and ready for delivery.
- Reenter the Delivery Manager.
- Select an order.
- Press the Ready button.
- Order Status changes from N (New) to R (Ready for Delivery).
- Last Activity: Tracks the amount of time since the order was boxed and designated as Ready for Delivery.
The delivery coordinator checks the dashboard for orders with an R (Ready)status. When the order is picked up, the driver/coordinator marks the order D (Delivery Now.)
- View orders with an R (Ready for Delivery) status.
- When an order is picked up, select the order and tap Deliver Now.
- Order Status changes from R (Ready for Delivery) to D (Delivered).
- Last Activity: When an order is marked “Deliver Now”, the time clock displays the total amount of time it took to fulfill the customer’s order to prepare it for pick-up. Total time displayed is the sum of timed statuses N, R, and D.
Select Reset Status to reset the status of a delivery order. Orders may be canceled due to an ordering mistake, a customer complaint, a reorder, etc… When Reset Status is selected the order status returns to N status.

Delivery reports provide valuable insight into the delivery process. Both the Delivery Report and the Delivery Status Report are accessed directly from the Delivery Manager.

- Delivery Report: Provides a snapshot of current order status, customer info, and financial info related to delivery orders. This report can also be run from the Sales Reports section. See: Delivery Report
