Make better staffing decisions by taking advantage of Exatouch’s labor tracking metrics! Labor tracking compares labor costs with gross and net sales. Data appears on the Business Overview Report and prints on the Snapshot Report by default; The preference may be turned off in Print Settings.
- To ensure accurate labor tracking, confirm that each employee has a defined hourly rate and clocks-in and out regularly. If a staff member does not have a defined hourly rate or clock in/out, their Labor Cost will be recorded as $0.00.
- Labor Cost: (Staff1 Total current hours*hourly rate)+(Staff2 Total current hours*hourly rate)+(StaffXÂ Total current hours*hourly rate)…
- Gross Sales: Order summary Total, filled in against screenshot above.
- Net Sales: Order summary Sub Total, filled in against screenshot above.
- Labor Cost % (Net Sales): (Labor Cost/SubTotal)*100
- Labor Cost % (Gross Sales): (Labor Cost/Total)*100
- Historical hourly rates will be tracked for reporting purposes. Historical reporting will not change with adjustments to the hourly rate.
