Modifier Page Ratios

  • Last Updated: February 29, 2024

Use Modifier Pages to organize modifiers and find them quickly on the MODS tab. Modifier pages can be associated with ratios, which are especially useful for pizzerias when adding whole and 1/2 topping options on a pizza order.

Before ringing up orders with modifier ratios, merchants must configure modifier ratios, configure the Mod Add. Price setting, and enable the Modifier Page setting.

Configure Modifier Ratios

Configuring Modifier ratios sets specific ratios for modifiers, such as 1/2 sausage toppings or 1/4 bacon toppings. Modifier ratios are configured on the Custom Vars screen.

  1. From Home, navigate to Settings > Preferences.Settings module highlighted with arrow leading to preferences submodule
  2. Tap the Custom Vars tab.Custom vars tab highlighted
  3. From the Type list, select Modifiers Page.Modifiers page highlighted in custom vars list
  4. Enter or edit modifier ratio names, as desired (e.g., 1st Half Topping), in the Description column.Modifier ratio names highlighted in description column
  5. In the Ratio column, enter a ratio as a numeric percentage. For example, enter 50.0000 for 1/2 toppings.Ratio figures entered in ratio column
  6. Enable all desired modifier sliders in the Active column.Active sliders highlighted and displaying as enabled
  7. Tap Save.
