Exatouch offers three different security access levels, defined by three user types: Administrator, Power User, and Regular User.
- Note: Security preferences and access controls are NOT enabled by default. You must enable access controls. Until you enable access controls, all users can access all sections of Exatouch without entering a PIN. Enable Access Controls to fine-tune access to Exatouch features.
- Administrator: Administrators have full system access, including access to Settings and Utilities.
- Power User: Power Users have similar access to Administrators but without access to Settings and Utilities.
- Regular User: Regular Users can create new orders, edit orders, and cash out orders. They can’t apply discounts or retrieve existing open orders.
- Tip! User Type is used to define the list of Exatouch features a user can access. Staff Type is used to define a user’s role or function within your organization, such as Cashier, Server, Delivery, Manager, and more.
