Enable Admin Fee

1. From Home, navigate to Settings > Account.
2. Tap the Admin Fee tab.
3. Enter an Admin Fee amount, tap to select Percent to apply a percentage-based admin fee, or Dollar to apply a flat dollar amount admin fee. Admin fees are not applied to any tender type by default — tap to apply admin fees for all tender types.
4. Optionally, tap to enable, edit, and print receipt messages for Guest Check (Pre-Payment) Receipt Message, Tendered Receipt Message, and Exempted Receipt Message.
   • Tip! Use the provided variables when you customize your receipts. The variable {%disc} includes the percentage admin fee applicable to the tender type. The variables {$disc} and {dollar} include the total admin fee, in dollar amount format, applicable to the tender type. The variable {tender} includes the tender type used in this transaction.
5. Optionally, enable Fee is Taxable to calculate tax on the Admin Fee, or enable Apply Fee to Taxes to calculate the Admin Fee on the order total and taxes on the order, if needed.
   
6. Tap Save to save your work.

Exatouch Setup:

• Tender Type Discount: all tenders – 0.00%

Merchants can add a custom button to the register that removes Admin Fees from an order. Perform the following to add an Undo Admin Fee button to the register:

1. From Home, navigate to Settings > Register Preferences.
2. Tap the Custom Buttons tab.
3. Select Buttons.
4. Select an available button from the custom buttons grid. Available buttons have no label. If no buttons are available, a button can be made available by clearing it. To remove a function, item, service or promo from a button, see: Custom Buttons: Remove a Function from the Register
5. From the Function section, select Undo Admin Fee to add the button to the grid.
6. Tap Save.
7. Navigate to the register to confirm the location of the Undo Admin Fee button.
