The Delivery Status Report provides a detailed look into delivery order statuses, allowing managers to improve bottlenecks in the delivery process. This report is accessed directly from the Delivery Manager.
- Tip! Pizzeria and restaurant delivery coordinators can pull up this report to view order and last-activity info to determine if there is a delay in their delivery operation which needs attention.
The Delivery Status Report devotes one page to each Delivery Service employed. For example, In-House Delivery data is displayed on the first page/section; GrubHub would be listed on the second page; UberEATS on the third page. If 3rd party services are not utilized, the report will display only In-House Delivery data.
- Order ID: Order ID for in-house deliveries is the order number as assigned by Exatouch. Order ID for 3rd-party delivery services is the order number the service assigns the order as entered into Exatouch by the merchant.
- Date: This is the order date.
- Created by: The name of the employee who created the order.
- N to R: “New” to “Ready” represents the time it took to prepare and box a new order. This data is only available for in-house orders; data is not displayed for orders delivered by 3rd parties.
- R to O: “Ready” to “Out for Delivery” represents the amount of time it took a boxed order to be picked up by an in-house driver. This data is only available for in-house orders; data is not displayed for orders delivered by 3rd parties.
- O to D: “Out for Delivery” to “Delivered”. The time it takes between pickup, delivery, and the driver’s return to the restaurant. This data is only available for in-house orders; data is not displayed for orders delivered by 3rd parties.
- Total Time: This is the total amount of time it takes to deliver an order from the time the order was placed to the time the driver returns to the restaurant. This is a sum of all delivery status times. Total Time = N + R + O + D.
