Use Reprint to print a receipt for any closed, paid order. Add this button to the Register app in a convenient location, such as the submenu or other standard button location. To make the Reprint button available in the Register, Order Details, Pay, and Floor Plan work areas, add it to the submenu of the Register app.
Admin users and Power Users reprint both the order receipt and the merchant signature copy. Regular users only reprint order receipts.
Reprint a Receipt
- From Register, tap Reprint.
- Note: Place the Reprint in any available custom button slot. Add it to the Register app submenu to make it available in all work areas of the Register app.
- Select an available order, or search by Customer, Item, Service, Staff, Card Number, or Date. Use the Search field to search by function, such as Order, Time, Customer/Label, Machine, or Total $.
- Tap a print option, such as Print, Gift Receipt, Email Receipt, or Print Sticky Labels.
- Tap Close.
In this example, we’ve searched for a customer by name to bring up their order history at a dine in restaurant. This restaurant also offers take out, pickup, and delivery orders. They eventually integrated DeliverMe online ordering into their Exatouch environment to conveniently expand their availability to a wider variety of customers.
Order Status
This customer, Aaron Tarka, has a placed a number of different kinds of orders. Each order’s status is located on the order grid between the Customer/Label and Machine information:
- I – Orders placed as dine in service, processed using the Register app.
- T – Orders placed as take out orders, processed using the Register app.
- P – Orders placed for pickup. These orders are placed using the Register app or DeliverMe, and managed using Delivery Manager.
- D – Orders placed for delivery. These orders are placed using the Register app or DeliverMe, and managed using Delivery Manager.
Not shown in this example are:
- N – Orders that are new and need to be built and marked as ready.
- O – Orders that are open and in the process of being built.
- Feature Note: If you are using DeliverMe, P and D represents pickup and delivery orders accepted in house or using DeliverMe. Orders accepted using DeliverMe are tagged as accepted as an Online Order in the Machine column.
You can search for an order in multiple ways:
- Scroll through orders using the green arrows to advance up and down. Tap to select a specific order to reprint.
- Tap a column in the work area and use the Search field to sort and search by information in that column, such as Order#, Time, Customer/Label, Machine, or Total $.
- Tap an expanded search option to search by Customer, Item, Service, Staff, Card Number, or Date.
Search by Customer
Tap the Customer search icon to open a search by customer work area. Use the search options to narrow the list of customers. Tap to select a customer and return their orders.
Search by Item
Tap the Item search icon to open a search by item work area. Use the search options to narrow the list of items. Tap to select an item and return the orders that contain this item.
Search by Service
If you offer services, tap the Service search icon to open a search by service work area. Use the search options to narrow the list of services. Tap to select a service and return the orders that contain this service.
Search by Staff
Tap the Staff search icon to open a search by staff work area. Use the search options to narrow the list of staff. Tap to select a staff member and return the orders associated with this staff member.
Search by Card Number
Tap the Card Number field and enter the last four digits of a credit card number used for a transaction to locate transactions associated with this partial credit card number.
Search by Date
Tap the Date field and enter a month, day, and year to return orders placed on that day.
Expand and Limit Your Search Results
By default, Exatouch searches and returns the last 200 transactions that meet your search criteria. Expand your search to the last 2000 transactions, or search all transactions.
Limit your search by order type, such as Take Out, Pick Up, and Delivery.
