Scan Data Program

Exatouch easily generates the reports Scan Data requires for both Altria and RJ Reynolds products, and automatically formats the information according to specifications. The information can be uploaded to Scan Data via FTP.

  • To configure Scan Data for RJ Reynolds products, see Scan Data Program – RJ Reynolds.
    • Important:
      The process for setting up Scan Data for RJ Reynolds has changed ; the new process is documented in the article above. All merchants participating in the Scan Data program will be contacted directly by Circana, the new data processor.

      • Existing merchants: If you are already set up for Scan Data using MSA, that information will still be transmitted during the interim period after 12/31/24. However, you should set up your FTP via Circana as soon as possible. If you have NOT received welcome and setup information from Circana, please contact Exatouch Tech Support for assistance.
      • New merchants: After 12/31/24, you must set up the Scan Data account via Circana. Do not fill in the MSA Information fields, as the data will not be transmitted.
