Enable “Change Due” prompts at the register to help cashiers give back accurate change when cash tender is applied. “Change Due” prompts are optional and can auto-close after a defined period of time. “Change Due” options are turned on and off in Register Preferences.

This is an example of a “Change Due” prompt:
This is an example of a “Change Due” prompt with receipt prompts enabled:
“Change Due” options are enabled and disabled in Register Preferences under the “General” tab.
When enabled with “Change prompt display: 0 sec(s)”, the merchant must select “Close” on prompt.
When enabled with “Change prompt display: 3 sec(s)”, prompt will close automatically in 3 seconds.
