Items Reports

The Items report allows merchants to review items sold by the business. Merchants can review inventory levels, prices, and other data for every item they sell. This helps merchants determine at a glance the exact quantity of items in inventory so they can reorder only those items that they need, increasing efficiency and cost savings.

Run an Items Report

Perform the following to generate an Items report:

  1. From Home, navigate to Reports > Items.Reports module on home screen with arrow leading to items submodule

  2. Tap Items.Items button highlighted on items reports screen
  3. Review, send, or save the report as needed.Items report sample that displays various sales category and pricing data

Report Fields

Column information, from left to right, includes the following:

  • Item: The name of the item
  • Brand: The manufacturer of the item
  • SKU: The item’s primary SKU number
  • Category: The item’s category
  • SubCat: The item’s subcategory
  • Color: The item’s color description
  • Size: The size set for the item
  • In Stock: The amount of the item in stock
  • Price: The item’s sale price
  • Default Item Field: Custom field the merchant can create to further describe items
  • Custom Fields 2 and 3: Two additional custom fields

Rename Custom Fields in Items Reports

Merchants can rename custom fields in the Items Report from on the Custom Vars screen. Perform the following:

  1. From Home, navigate to Settings > Preferences.Settings module highlighted with arrow leading to preferences submodule
  2. Tap the Custom Vars tab.Custom vars tab highlighted on settings preferences screen
  3. In the Type section, select Item (User Defined Field).
  4. Rename the default field name(s) as desired.
  5. Tap Save.
