Customer service fee messaging has been expanded to include customizable messages for both paid customer receipts and open orders. Payment receipt messages display on paid customer receipts; Folio Receipt messages display on open orders. Restaurants will find the addition of Folio Receipt messages helpful when they present a receipt to customers at the end of their meal. This feature applies to all merchants using customer service fees.
This message displays on open orders receipts and reprint tickets which have not yet been paid for. Folio Receipt messages can be enabled when customer service fee for both credit & cash is enabled:

This message displays on receipts for any cash tender payment that has a customer service fee defined for items. Cash Payment Receipt messages can be enabled for transactions which include a cash discount and/or a customer serviceĀ fee.

This message will display on any non-cash tender payment that has a customer service fee defined for items. Non-Cash Payment Receipt messages can be enabled for transactions which include a cash discount and/or a customer service fee.

- Update: Customer Service Fee is now Checkout Fee. This change complies with major card brand requirements.
